October 16, 2023. The DNPF team visited Ban Bugjarang ECD Center, Kapchoeng District to provide coaching to teachers using activities with shapes. The purpose was for children to learn observation skills, classification, and similarities and differences of geometric shapes.

October 17, 2023. The DNPF team visited Banpokong ECD Center, Prasat District, where teachers and parents were speakers on story telling of the folktale “Kranob Ting Tong” in the Khmer dialect spoken in Thailand. They invited children to dance like grasshoppers (kranob ting tong).

October 18, 2023. The DNPF team visited Banjan ECD Center, Sangkha District to provide coaching to teachers using activities with balls. The aim was to allow children to practice their gross motor skills for agile physical movements, body balance and also team playing with their peers.

October 24, 2023. The DNPF team visited Wat Oulok ECD Center, Lamduan District to provide coaching to teachers using collaborative art activities to allow children to use their imaginations and express their feelings freely through art. November 1 – 5, 2023. The DNPF team visited Ban Nonjan ECD Center and Ban Nonsa-nga ECD Center, Pathumrat District, Roi Et to set up a classroom learning environment and learning corners in accordance with the active learning approach.

November 6, 2023. The DNPF team visited Ban Yang Sri-Tawan ECD Center, Sikhoraphum District to coach teachers on thinking and planning skills to implementation, learning about the Loy Krathong cultural tradition and natural resources conservation by using biodegradable materials to make krathong.

November 13, 2023. The DNPF team visited Ban Chanpain ECD Center, Khwao Sinarin District, to coach teachers to promote thinking and survival skills from threats around them using role-play activities.

November 15, 2023. The DNPF team visited Ban Sawai ECD Center, Muang District, Surin to coach teachers to focus on allowing children to practice their gross moter skills, agile physical movement, balancing and team playing.

November 16, 2023. The DNPF team visited Narong SAO ECD Center, Sri Narong District to coach teachers to promote child’s emotional development through art activities. These will allow children to freely express their feelings through art works, relax, be proud of their own works as well as appreciate others’ works.

November 20, 2023. The opening ceremony for the Workshop on the Participation Network for Sustainable Quality Improvement of Surin ECD Model Centers was held at Chang Puak Meeting Room, Building 41, Faculty of Education, Surindra Rajabhat University. November 20, 2023. The DNPF’s Management Committee, Mr. Ian Porter and Khun Omporn Lulitananda Regel, and Mr. Chidchai Jarat, Local Administrative Officer, Senior Professional Level, participated in the discussion on the networking policy for the development of model ECD centers in Surin.

November 20, 2023. In the afternoon, Mrs. Gayle E. Holmes and Ms. Hathairat Jongsermtrakoon gave the knowledge on improving early childhood teachers with the active learning approach.
